Yakhni Chicken Pulao
Fennel seeds – 2 tablespoons
Dry cilantro seeds – 2 tablespoons
Whole garlic – 1
Onion – 1 whole
Chicken – 1/2 kg
Onion – 2 slices
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tablespoons
Potato – 3 cut in lenth wise
Green chile – 4 to 5
Tomato – 2 chopped
Yogurt – 250 gm
Garam masala powder – 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Rice – 375 g
Garam masala whole – 2 tablespoons
Oil – 1/2 cup
Make a packet of fennel seeds and dried cilantro seeds with muslin cloth.
Now take a pan, add 4 glasses of water, 1 tablespoon of whole garam masala, whole garlic, packet of spices, whole onion and salt, cook well.
Then add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes and remove the flame.
Now in a separate pan, add oil and onions and fry until golden brown, then remove 3/4 of onion and add the ginger garlic paste, cold with 1 tablespoon of whole garam masala.
Then add the potatoes and cool well.
Then add the yogurt and cool well.
Then add chicken and garam masala powder, cold well. Then add the whole green chiles, fry them for 1 minute and add 2 chopped tomatoes, salt and broth.
Cook until the potatoes are tender, then add the rice and cook until the water dries.
